How much does gold cost at Voima?
When you buy or sell gold at Voima, you pay the price of gold plus an exchange fee.
If you buy gold through Finnish online payments, the euro account or if you sell gold, you will be shown the exact amounts of what you will get from the exchange upon confirming the transaction. If you buy gold via bank transfer, the gold price applied will be the current price at the time when Voima settles the transaction.

Can I sell gold to Voima?
Yes. You can exchange the gold on your Voima Account for euros, which is equivalent to selling it to Voima.
If you wish to sell your gold material, like bars or jewellery, you can bring it to Voima for a โฌ100 fee. To do this, you need to book an appointment. The amount of pure gold in the batch will be analysed, after which the corresponding amount of gold is deposited into your Voima Account. You can then exchange it for euros.
In terms of the delivered material, Voima accepts gold bars, plates, jewellery and other gold items.

The account fee is a yearly fee of 0.99%, and every day a portion is set aside for a monthly installment, which is paid in gold. In practice, this means that the following calculation is done daily: total amount of gold x 0.0099 / number of days in a year. Yes. Within the Finnish borders, standard deliveries for 100-gram gold bars are available in exchange for a โฌ50 fee per shipment. The shipment is handled by Posti, and the maximum value a parcel can contain is โฌ15,000. This means that you can ship a maximum of two 100-gram gold bars per shipment. If you want to arrange shipping outside Finland, please contact Voima's Customer care.
Please note that if you wish Voima to ship your gold bars to you, the gold is withdrawn from Voima's ecosystem. That is why you will also pay a โฌ20 withdrawal fee per bar, as indicated on the pricing page.

What does LBMA Good Delivery mean?
The Good Delivery specification is a set of rules issued by the London Bullion Market Association (LBMA) describing the fine ounce weight, purity and the physical appearance of gold and silver bars. If a refinery has been accredited by the LBMA, it must produce bars according to the Good Delivery specifications.
Voima's Customers can withdraw Good Delivery gold bars: these bars weigh approximately 12.4 kg, and the withdrawal price can be checked from Voima's pricing page.

Which currencies can I transfer into Voima Account?
Voima Account can hold both euros and gold but you can also deposit, withdraw and exchange other currencies. This can be arranged by contacting our Customer care, who will give you the relevant instructions. The supported currencies are the euro (EUR), US dollar (USD), British pound (GBP), Swiss franc (CHF), Swedish krona (SEK), Norwegian krone (NOK) and Danish krone (DKK).
Voima holds customer asset accounts at OP Bank in all the above-mentioned currencies. Inbound foreign currency transfers can be converted into euros or exchanged for gold, and you can request your withdrawals in any of the mentioned currencies. Voima converts foreign currencies into euros and vice versa at prevailing interbank foreign exchange rates and does this free of charge. Please remember that the relevant exchange fees apply when you exchange any currency for gold or the other way around.

Does Voima submit the Customer's tax information to the Finnish Tax Administration if the Customer so requests?
No. Voima submits information to the Finnish Tax Administration only in accordance with the legal requirements. Thus, no information is submitted automatically or by Customers' requests. Rather, the person liable to pay taxes is responsible for submitting their own information to the tax authorities.

Why do I need to identify myself in the account opening process?
For security reasons. The identification increases the security of Voima's services and enables Voima to provide and develop more services in the future. It responds to growing regulatory requirements, such as the prevention of terrorist financing and money laundering. The identification also makes it easier to add account-related services, such as business accounts.
